Parent workshop a Great Success!

Grandmaster wanted to wish families a good start to a Happy New Year when he met with them Monday, January 12.

He offered all of us the keys to TaeKwonDo happiness when he explained the four (4) disciplines:

1. Eat well. When he speaks of this, he refers to eating regular meals and not having "junk" foods. Parents were urged to prepare healthy, nutritious food and not buy high calorie / fat, non-nutrient items.

2. Exercise every day. Grandmaster's philosophy that healthy bodies help create healthy and happy minds. He stresses that by doing this each day, we create a positive lifetime habit.

3. Do a good deed each day. By helping other people, we fulfill ourselves and gain in return the self-confidence and self-respect knowing that we have done something useful and helpful.

4. Show appreciation. Perhaps hardest of all, Grandmaster says, is that we demonstrate appreciation for other people and their good deeds. We can simply say "Thank you" and from these words love and happiness will grow.

Finally, Grandmaster believes that if we all follow these disciplines we are practicing "happy TaeKwonDo" and together we will build a happy community and world.
